Company Infostud received a special acknowledgement for the overall contribution to the development of e-business for past 10 years in Serbia. This award was given to Infostud at the end of April by the professional conference E-Trgovina for accomplished results that gave a positive example to local companies on how an entire business could be Internet based.
For this occasion, Branislava Gajic, the manager of Infostud said: „This is a very important acknowledgment for us because exactly ten years ago Infostud stepped into the Internet world in Serbia, which was at the time, very small - hardly any companies used it in their firms, ADSL line did not exist, people used floppy disks and it was very difficult explaining why someone should advertise on our website… However, all this now looks easy to us. We are very happy that we have contributed to the Internet expansion in the past decade, that it is now used in almost every office, in the HR departments, marketing sectors, in educational institutions and even car trade”.
Since the professional conference E-Trgovina celebrated their own ten year anniversary, the panel acknowledged people who had proved themselves through their work and made their contribution to the development and popularization of the e-business in Serbia in the last decade. The awards were given to: Nikola Markovic, the board director of the Informatics Association of Serbia, Slobodan Markovic, the special adviser in the Ministry of Telecommunications, Miloje Sekulic, PR manager at the McCann Public relations agency, Dragan Varagic, consultant in the field of the use of Internet in business and Vladimir Zivaljevic, Adriatico CMP.
The professional conference E-Trgovina, traditionally awards the most successful projects that contribute to the development of e-business, since 2003.
The E-Trgovina 2010 conference was opened by Jasna Matic, the Minister of Telecommunications and Informative society of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
